PR & Marketing Manager for Fireball

Overview
Fireball is a rapidly expanding event management agency Specialising in Sport, Fundraising & Entertainment, whose business over the past two years has diversified with three new divisions; PR, Talent Management and an Event Staffing Agency. Due to this expansion a fantastic new role has arisen for a PR & Marketing Manager.

The role of the PR & Marketing Manager involves hands-on daily management and direction of the PR department whilst creating and implementing a marketing plan that raises awareness of the new business areas via press, advertising and online marketing.  Your work across all business sectors will be a balance of maintaining current clients whilst maximising new business opportunities.

The PR & Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a small team, involves internal and client facing activity and reports into the managing director. 

Key Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate needs to possess the following:

• At least three years PR/Marketing experience in an agency environment, ideally within sports/entertainment
  
• A confident and proactive team leader with the ability to implement daily working methods
  
• Excellent contacts across all mainstream media including print, TV and Radio
  
• Experience in planning &  implementing PR Strategies & Campaigns
  
• Experience in copywriting, presentation, drafting PR proposals & press releases and selling in stories
  
• Proven understanding and experience of how to utilise a variety of marketing disciplines to drive a business forward
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to juggle a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Outgoing, articulate, hardworking
  
• Willingness to work out of office hours including late nights and occasional weekends
  
• Ability to excel under pressure
  
• Ability to deal with people at all levels of business

Salary Dependent on Experience
